35 Denton Ideas

New Storyboards

http://www.aribrown.net/illustration.html
Added a Storyboard Gallery to the site.  Robocop Study is up and there's a Dark Knight Study on the way (once they've been formatted).  I think I'll do a John Wick study as well because it'd be a challenge to convey the complex choreography in the fight scenes.

Look, it ticks!

I will be honest.  Very honest.  I never met John Bullard in the flesh until today and when I saw him smile at all the work I made for this concert it filled me with a sense what I can only describe as...completion.  He saw the work and was moved.  If a few nights lost to sleep instead of work can bring about a smile like this, it's always worth it.  My thanks go out to Trees for hosting, King Camel Productions (Matthew Gray and Jeff Brown in particular) for organizing this amazing concert,  the bands:  Beach Fossils.  The Appleseed Cast.  Telegraph Canyon.  Indian Jewelry.  The Outfit, TX.  Son of Stan.  Ronnie Heart.  Madison King.  Matthew and the Arrogant Sea.  Dead Mockingbirds.  Moon Waves.  Leon Bridges.  The Blondettes.
You played amazing and also signed a poster I gave to John at the end of the night.  You guys were amazing and showed me an amazing time.  I hope never to forget this day.

New Have a Heart Poster

OK so this turned out to be amazing!  I am really proud of this one.  Come by Trees This Saturday to see and buy the posters made especially for this event.  A majority of the proceeds are going to help Mr John Bullard for his medical expenses.  I'll be offering a total of five compositions in 11"x17" tabloid and 18"x24" poster size.  Good art for a good cause.  See you there!

Changes to be made

Sometimes I think I'm all smart.  The biggest and best working brain in the room but frankly I'm writing checks my life isn't cashing.  It's time I start changing that.
This means more.  More work.  More attention.  More production.   Making more of a difference every day.
This also means less.  Less distraction.   Less consumption.  Less apathy and maybe even of what used to be me.
Let's get fired up about change.  About time I did that. W00t!
Here's a tattoo design by the way.
