Hooray Sketches!

So here the sketches that I have been doodling with for the past few weeks.

I love process:

In this first sketch I played more with the idea of mass. I wanted this character to be built out of wires but still have an idea of humanity. This was too bulky for the direction I wanted.

This sketch did the idea of an android like persona but was too slender and not in the right proportions.

Here, the proportions are dead on. The structure is progressing but still changes need to be made.

So I can only upload so much. See you next post!

SO here is the Security guard. A mild mannered roughneck who'll bounce you as soon as you go over the line. But when he gets cranky, lets just say he goes psychotic.

STORYBOARDS!!!

So internet...I understand we've been having communication problems and I understand that it's my fault for not posting anything and being freakin remiss. To make up for it, here's a SIT-REP. For the past month or so, I've been taking a class under the tutelage of Joe Prescher on the fine art of Storyboarding. For our final project, we have our choice to storyboard one scene from any movie of our choosing. My choice: the last scene from "The Dark Knight". Why? Easy. I'm a nerd and Christopher Nolan is a genius. Here are some works in progress.

Note to any interested party: "Do arrows for camera and character movements last. Drawing is more important."

P.S. Pop in the DvD and match up the shots. Its fun :P
